I continue to explore my theme of visually capturing the unseen energy, movement, life force and emotion beneath the surface while reflecting the palette of the natural landscape.
The Menindee Lakes is a chain of shallow ephemeral freshwater lakes in the outback of Australia connected to the Darling River to form an outback storage system of life-giving water. The lakes are home to nearly 220,000 water birds and include freckled ducks, grey teals and pink eared ducks.
