Self-confessed social butterfly and mother of three Lara Scolari is pinching herself – it’s a pretty good life, she says. Lara enjoys spending time with friends, pursuing the simple things in life like dancing, singing and eating – and she took time out from studies for a Masters in Cross Disciplinary Art and Design to give us a glimpse of some of her favourite things...
ART: I’m really into Australian contemporary art and experimenting with my art making. I particularly like works by an Australian artist Dale Frank at the moment. I love the use of colour in his works and how the mediums meld into each other. This year I’ve started to focus more on my art. My love is abstract work because you don’t get caught up in the process of making it perfect – if it works it works!
