The Peoples series, from the 2021 Creative Exchange, unites artists Tara Eales and Lara Scolari in a surreal blend of fashion and art. Tara’s textile sculptures, inspired by her 20 years in fashion, combine decorative fabrics with unique trims. Lara’s large-scale abstract landscapes provide the perfect backdrop, immersing viewers in a dreamlike world that captures the personalities and energy of the Peoples. Together, they create a layered, textured exploration of form, colour, and tone.
