Kakadu National Park is a place of abundant growth, lush and fertile, reaching towards the sun.
My recent trek through this sacred land was a journey of discovery, where I immersed myself in the energy and rhythm of the native flora, fauna, and landscape.
In my paintings, I aim to evoke the magic of Kakadu, using deep greens and red earth to capture the lush, fertile quality of this rugged and diverse landscape.
My work reflects the cyclical life cycle of the countryside and its connection to the sun while also showcasing the ancient and enduring culture of the Bininj/Mungguy people.
The visual force of my paintings parallels the magnetic field-like energy of the Northern Territory, drawing the viewer in to experience the beauty and power of this sacred land.
