One of my most recent works Lava Lamp II draws it’s inspiration from the vast Australian Landscape that continually transforms and changes throughout the different seasons.
Each layer of paint is indicative of one season; the warm pinks symbolising Summer, the fiery oranges reminiscent of Autumn, the deep browns of Winter and the vibrant greens of Spring.
Through merging these different colours together in an almost poetic and spiritual manner, I hope to translate the ever-changing and fluid cycle of the Australian landscape.
