Earth Lines

Earthlines is a contemplative series that explores the emotional and energetic resonance of the landscape beneath our feet. These 18 abstract portrait-format works act as geological portraits — layered, intuitive cross-sections that reveal the latent energy, movement, and memory of the natural world.

Working within six tonal palettes — Paynes Grey (water/air), Olive (foliage/plant), Ochre, Oxide, and Aubergine (earth/mineral), and Monochrome (earth/sky) — each piece responds to an elemental rhythm. The paintings speak to the pulse of the unseen: the whisper of roots, the shift of sediment, the quiet thunder of what lies just below the surface.
